Laraval Valet with WP Synchro

Laravel Valet is a development environment for Mac OS. It is mostly used for Laravel development, but can also be used for WordPress sites.

Generally it will work fine with WordPress and WP Synchro, but if you see this error message:

Error message: cURL error 6: Could not resolve: example.com

Here is a quick guide to fix it (on macOS Mojave, so could be a bit different in other versions):

1. Open system preferences
2. Select 'Network'
3. Click on 'Advanced...'
4. Go the the 'DNS' tab
5. Using the '+' button under the DNS servers list, add the following IP addresses in this order:
6. 127.0.0.1
7. 1.1.1.1 (or another public DNS server)
8. Click on 'OK'
9. Click on 'Apply' to apply the changes
